61850STUDIO a framework specialized on the engineering of IEC 61850/IEC 61400-25 projects.
Develop Project specifications and generate System Specification Description (SSD) files.
Model any device creating the information model and export it to ICD files.
Configure projects developing System Configuration Description (SCD) files.
Design the single line diagram and allocate the logical nodes required for the system funcionality.
Use the graphical editor to define the single line diagram.
Keep track of the actions with undo and redo features.
View the result in the SCL tree.
Create or edit IED models without restrictions.
Use cases:
Define the IED engineering and runtime capabilities.
Once a logical node is added to a logical device. IED Builder create the LNodeType template and all the descendants.
Edit any control block available: Report, Log, GOOSE, Setting Groups or even Sampled Values.
Create dataset easily with drag and drop and filter capabilities.
Edit the direct setpoint “SP” with help in the enumerated values.
Edit the setting groups to modify the initial settings of the device.
Edit the templates using the standard definitions to avoid errors.
Keep log of changes editing the Header and the History Items.
Edit the default value of the IP address, OSI selector, AP title or any other communication parameter.
Use the graphic editor to create a bay template for the IED.
All the actions are logged and then can be undo in any sequence during the edition session.
Use the model checker feature to find deviations from the standard model templates.
Remove unused templates, DOI-SDI-DAI, or FCDAs in the datasets.
Create the default link to the IEC 60870-5-104 information objects for the Remote Terminal Unit or Gateway configuration.
Configure IEC 61850 systems integrating devices from different manufactures. Work with devices from edition 1 or edition 2.
Create the system importing the system specification (SSD), the IED templates (ICD) or a device (IID) or system (SCD) already configured.
Select an existing IED an duplicate it. 61850STUDIO will request a new name and IP address to configure it.
Use the drag and drop features and the filters to create dataset quickly with the dataset editor.
When a dataset is referenced by a control block 61850STUDIO indicates the list of control blocks using the dataset.
When the dataset is modified “ConfRev” is automatically updated in all the controlblocks.
In case that the dataset includes wrong references to the information model, these references are highlighted in red color.
61850STUDIO can create all the control blocks and configure all the available attributes in the control blocks.
61850STUDIO respects the manufacturer edition capabilities to avoid errors importing the SCD in the ICT tool.
With the single line diagram editor, the electrical topology can be defined. Once the IED are instantiated, the single line diagram can be linked with the IED specific logical nodes.
When the IED manufactured identifies the attributes of the IEC 61850 model that can be modified outside of the IED Configuration tool, 61850STUDIO show this attributes.
Each model change is stored in a sequence of changes. 61850STUDIO allows to undo and redo any change in any order. The list of changes can also be exported in XML.
SCL file comparison tool. Detect easily any difference between two SCL file versions.
A simple tool to check any SCL file against user provided schemas (XSD).
